There seems to be several burning questions as we go through the shedding of the old phase we talked about last month in Letting Go.
"If I am supposed to be a co-creator, how did I manage to create this? This is not what I wanted or what I thought it would look like! Why, oh why, didn't I take the blue pill?"
I don't know about you, but I happily decided to manifest things never fully realizing what all would have to go, in order to do so. It seems that there are always things unseen by us clogging up the works. Dynamics between people's patterns for instance, or old belief systems that have to be shattered. Our substance is being drained in directions that no longer serve. No matter how attached we may be to the person or thing on the receiving end, Spirit is informing us that there is a choice to be made, the old way or what you have intended.
The rub of the matter is that by the time we see it, the choice has already been made. Dumb and happy is gone and we can no longer tolerate the old way. It then becomes time to roll up our sleeves and be about the matter of accessing and clearing our patterns that keep us attached (stuck) to the old.
When hit with unexpected challenges, ask yourself, "what have I intended that brought this up to be cleared?" In viewing it this way we stay out of victim. If we drop into the stance of "why is this happening to me?" we immediately loose our perspective. We cover our face with our hands and fail to see the signposts leading us to our manifestations.
It is also helpful to hold on to the fact that the pain we may be experiencing here is not the process but our resistance to it. In this way we can unearth our resistance, let go and move forward with a minimum amount of discomfort.
There is also something I like to refer to as the 3 wishes syndrome. Like the genie who grants three wishes but delights in including a backlash. Or the "every thing I touch turns to gold" only to have a golden statue for a daughter. While extreme, these fairy tales describe what often occurs when we try to manifest our dreams without regard to the way life works.
Our personal manifestations do not happen in a vacuum, we need to manifest in cooperation with the laws of nature. Work with the seasons and currents of life itself. Be ever mindful not to interfere with another's process or violate their free will. It is the art of finding your own free will within the circle of life. This is living a magic life.
To impose your manifestation without regard to life itself or the needs and wants of others is sorcery.
That is why it is so important to know what YOU want and not attach our happiness or fulfillment to another. All we can do is choose for ourselves and do the work that comes up knowing that after the empty time, there will be new to replace what is removed that better aligns with our new intent and purpose.
Sometimes, we just can't have it all: our denials and our enlightenment, our current friends and the respect we deserve, our current life style and our health. Other times, with some reframing and a little rearranging we can. Often we never know which is which until it is a done deal.
If we allow it to do so, the fear of what we will loose or of never really getting what we want will keep us immobilized and the time is gone to take advantage of the opportunity we have manifested for ourselves. We often manifest but fail to take the proper action at the appropriate time to obtain it when it arrives.
We are on the razors edge. This has not been done for so long, no one knows what it looks like. What is our future? Who knows, we haven't created it yet. We need to plant it out there. Yet in order to harvest what we plant we need to have the courage to walk empty handed into our future to get it with nothing but our promptings to guide us.
Like a trapeze artist you need to let go of the old bar in order to grab the new one. Timing is everything! Being in the moment, in the center of our true beings not grasping or holding back in fear, moving when the spirit moves us in total radical trust.
If we do so, we may just find that we have blown through the "big top" and the sky is the limit.
See you up there.
In friendship,
NEW! Path to Personal Power page:
I am extremely excited about our latest creation. It is a new spot on our website (soon to be up) where I will be able to post all the monthly writings in their entirety. In addition, for a donation to cover our costs, you can have not only the monthly writings in their entirety but all the updates that come through between the writings emailed to you as soon as they are out. In this way you can assure you are abreast of the latest currents moving in our evolutionary process.
I was prompted to undertake this project by the increasing need for all of us to stay informed as to what is moving through the whole in order not to lose perspective as we are in our personal rendition of the process.
So often, during these intense times those of us on this path of evolution can feel isolated and confused by the powerful currents we are experiencing. I have the rare privilege of working with many gifted leading edge people on a daily basis. This gives me an inside look at what is affecting us all. Over the years, I have found great comfort in the realization that we are all in this together and I am not just losing it. I hope to bring that same comfort to all of you through these writings and updates. Your generous donations will help cover my costs (which are considerable) and make this possible.

Ancient and Modern Shamanic Songs
By Gwilda Wiyaka
This charming and inspiring CD was originally intended to teach indigenous songs to students of Path Home Shamanic Arts School's Drum Circle Leadership Program while still honoring the oral traditions.
Fully expecting to cut it in a weekend or two, Gwilda Wiyaka and her producer Dan Polizzi entered Dan's sound studio. Two years and many artistic epiphanies later, One People was the result.
This CD can be viewed and ordered online at http://www.findyourpathhome.com/mg_cd.html or sampled and purchased at www.amazon.com. It can also be purchased at the Path Home School Bookstore at 4700 sterling Dr. Suite K, Boulder, CO

Ceremonial Bowls
Instructor: David Zaher
September 10 & 11, 2005; 10:00am - 5:30pm & 2:00-5:30pm, Boulder
In this class, from the Path Home Shamanic Artisan program we will work with the earth, air, water, and fire elements while creating ceremonial bowls in clay. This day and a half workshop focuses on teaching the basic principles of "Shamanic Working" while you hand build a ceremonial bowl that carries your frequency and intent.
Shamanic Working is a method by which the practitioner "works" power into an object. Once learned, this skill can then be applied to any sacred project one cares to undertake. We will burnish the surface, energetically charging the particles of the clay. After black firing personal symbols will be carved into the surface to represent and help hold the intent the bowl contains. More information: http://findyourpathhome.com/ws_main.html#bowls
Cost $175.00 + $10.00 Materials fee.
Prerequisite: Upper or Lower World Journey
