Any time things change form, energy is released.

Soul loss by its very nature changes the form or frequency of the individual suffering the fragmentation.  During this damaging process a person releases their right to a natural expression.  In so doing energy is released much like the splitting of an atom.

This energy is in turn devoured by parasitical forms that have been coexisting with us since the dawning of our civilization.  It is this symbiotic relationship that has created our fear-based culture, as we know it.

By keeping people in fear and victimhood the feeders are able to dine on the energy released during our trauma.

Everything expresses itself according to frequency.  As long as we are kept at a low frequency we are easily manipulated through our fear of lack.

The human condition exists along a continuum of frequency.  At the bottom of this frequency we find the person dressed in rags drinking from a bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag scratching through dumpsters for his next meal.  This man blames his fate on the rich bastards who have it all.  He believes that in order to have one must take it from someone else, so by playing on the sympathy of others he panhandles enough coin to buy another bottle in which to drown the pain of his meager existence.  When drunk he becomes a conduit through which the feeders can traumatize others creating more soul loss upon which to feed.  The feeders work through his patterns and beliefs stirring his hatred of those who have more than he and justify the murder of a hapless passerby for his wallet. 

Somewhere in the middle of this continuum we have our hard-working long-suffering citizens who sacrificed their lives to the system in order to scratch out a living until they can retire and died shortly thereafter.  They also feel victimized by the system but believe if they just work hard enough the system will grant them the rewards they desire.  The bumps, bruises and trauma they experience along their life’s path create soul loss that releases their energy to the feeders and drains away their lives.

This frequency continuum is not relative to how much money one has.  The rich are subject to the system and as victimized by it as the poor.  A wealthy man is often surrounded by people who are there for his money.  Given the opportunity they would take it from him and leave him in the dust.  Often the task of managing one's wealth and protecting his possessions is so all-encompassing and demanding that it creates isolation and paranoia.  Because of this, soul loss is suffered and again no one really profits but the feeders.

As long as we believe we are hapless victims of random negative circumstances we remain at the mercy of the entities that exist on our personal power.  We are in effect unconsciously agreeing to give away our life's force rather than reclaim it and the responsibility for our experience.

There is nothing here we have not co-created.  We, as a culture, have been unconsciously co-creating with the feeders for millennium.  Now is a time when we can become conscious of the invisible ebb and flow of energy and reclaim that which is ours.  In so doing this newfound energy can be directed to create a world to our liking, rather than one of seemingly random acts of violence and misfortune.

At this point I have probably painted such a dark picture of our lives that you are about to suffer soul loss in the contemplation of it.  It's important to realize, this entire system is something we chose to experience and learn from this lifetime.  All experiences are just that, experiences, neither good nor bad.  In fact, the recognizing and choosing to evolve beyond this current state of affairs is part of the next experience we have an opportunity to participate in. 

Not all of us will make this choice. Some will choose to continue to experience the lower frequencies while others grow beyond them.  This doesn't make people choosing the status quo all bad or lazy people, simply ones who've chosen a different experience this lifetime.

Everything expresses itself according to its frequency.  When things of different frequencies are mixed together they combine frequencies and become a common denominator.  Just like when we add slower vibrating or lower frequency cold water to rapidly vibrating higher frequency boiling water, we have water that is lukewarm.  When we try to share our lives and time with people of lower frequency we find our own frequency dropping.  It is so important to recognize where and with whom we belong during these volatile times of rapid transformation.  We do this with loving discernment not judgment nor condemnation.

In the Bible it says, be ye either hot or cold for if you are lukewarm I will spew you out of my mouth.  I think this refers to these times.  It has become time to make a choice.  There is no more room for sitting on the fence.  It is time to either evolve or not.  Dabbling is not an option, nothing but full commitment and faith can bring us out of this Babylon we have created.

So as the old year leaves us and the new one begins, may we lovingly release ourselves and each other from relationships and circumstances that no longer serve.  May we reclaim our soul parts, our power and our birthright.  May we walk forward in faith and joy to find and embrace our soul teams and together change the form of our world.

Tom Cowan to teach at Path Home:

Tom Cowan is a shamanic practitioner specializing in Celtic visionary and healing techniques.  He combines universal core shamanism with traditional European spirit lore to create spiritual practices that can heal and enrich one's own life and the lives of others.  He is an internationally respected teacher, author, lecturer, and tour leader.  He has taught training programs in England, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy; and most recently he was the first American shaman to teach in Slovakia.

The Cauldrons of the Soul

Primal Celtic mysticism views the soul as a shapeshifter that can wander through the elements and the natural world.  At the same time, the soul energizes key centers in the body and mind in subtle and mysterious ways that empower us to live fully as human beings.  Together these characteristics of the soul help us to realize our essential oneness with the Divine Consciousness woven throughout Creation.  In this workshop we learn prayers and practices that can be used on a daily basis to stay mindful of our souls and their relationship to both the sacred and secular environment around us.

We use the shamanic journey to discover the mysteries of the three cauldrons of the soul - the Cauldron of Warming, the Cauldron of Calling, the Cauldron of Knowing.  With these we can live more compassionately and empathize more intimately with others, listen more deeply, connect to animals, pets, the land we live on, and participate more fully in the seasons of the year.

This workshop is an initiation into Celtic mysteries that offers participants the opportunity to learn about and embody dana, a rich Celtic term that can refer to the primal energies of the universe.  It is dana that characterized the People of the Goddess Dana, also known by their ancestral title Tuatha De Danann.  And it is dana that gave certain groups of people such as druids, seers, poets, and healers the power that we today recognize as shamanism.  By allowing our souls to drink from the rich springs of dana, we can become the modern equivalents of those Celtic mystics and shamans known as aois dana and representatives of the "Shining Ones."
