It has been fun watching and assisting individuals move through their own rendition while we move forward as a whole. Recently, someone turned up the volume. What used to be a subtle current has become a raging torrent. It is manifesting in many ways. Those of us moving through physical clearing have developed this "cold" like no other with every (or nearly every) avenue that mucous can escape, i.e. nose, ears, eyes, throat and lungs, being on total overload. This "illness" is suspiciously lacking a fever yet puts us down for weeks if not months. People taking on emotional clearing feel extremely unstable with anxiety and depression raging through without warning. This is accompanied by an "I am loosing it" out of control feeling. Those of us clearing mentally are plagued by brain fog, old thought patterns on high, old tapes running, self doubt and staying awake at nights worrying. Spiritual clearing is taking the form of unearthing our denials and operating systems, the deep dark nasty ones that represent our worst nightmares. The really lucky ones are experiencing all of this at once. This spring cleaning was preceded by an increase in energy being released through the earth. I have personally experienced and had many reports of an almost electrical feeling coming out of the ground into the feet and up through the body. It feels like the Earth herself is radiating a high frequency to the stars. Almost like an answer to a call. I share this in hopes of reassuring those of you who may be thinking you are just loosing it all alone. You are in good company, hang in there. Many friends, old and new came to visit and celebrate with us. Dan Polizzi and Keith Hancock provided an evening full of beautiful music and David Zaher's pottery was beautiful. We were able to interface with other quality practitioners from the Boulder community increasing our networking resources. This will benefit all our clients in the future. If you were not, please drop in and see us when you can New Focus: Path Home as a Conscious Living Resource Center While working on mission statements for Path Home, I suddenly realized that Spirit is taking us in an additional direction. While I have always thought us to be a spiritual healing center and shamanic arts school it is now becoming increasingly clear that we will also be a conscious living resource center. With the old systems increasingly failing us, people will need a place to turn for alternatives. We at Path Home are increasingly having the delightful experience of meeting beautiful people of great integrity who are choosing to live life in a different way, a conscious, Earth friendly, sustainable way. From "green" builders and sustainable living experts to teachers supporting our indigos these innovative craftsmen, teachers and healing arts professionals will be a powerful resource in the times to come. I am putting together a Conscious Living Resource bulletin board in the clinic where business cards and pamphlets can be displayed. In the future, we will have evenings when we feature talks from people in the community on different modalities. This often overlooked and most necessary technique will be covered in depth. Various approaches will be demonstrated in order to meet the needs of our diverse clientele including: use of essential oils and homeopathics, creation of customized rituals for the individual client, V.I.B.E sessions, the use of power animals, how to best address all four levels and when and how to refer to other practitioners. Prerequisites: Upper or Lower World Journey and Beginning Soul Retrieval Medicine Pouches March 20, 2005 10:00 am - 5:30 pm This class was taken from the Path Home Shamanic Artisan program. The making of a personal Medicine Pouch will not only give the participants their own container for the medicine bundle to be collected in the Wilderness and Nature programs but it will also provide a basic knowledge of "Shamanic Working". Shamanic Working is a method by which the practitioner "works" power into an object. This skill can then be applied to any sacred project one cares to undertake. Prerequisites: Upper or Lower World Journey Upper World Shamanic Journey April 2, 2005 10:00 am - 5:30 pm In this experiential workshop you will learn the ancient method of entering the shamanic journey trance. Each participant will locate a Spirit Teacher and be instructed on the journey to upper world. Time will be spent on interpretation and basic understanding of the metaphors of the shamanic journey as well as traveling with your power animal. Prerequisites: None Sacred Space April 3, 2005 10:00 am - 5:30 pm Safe and enfolding containment is a necessity if we are to be able to open up to our creativity, bonding, intuition, and healing. In this class we will explore our personal connection with spirit. We will discover our own ceremonies and rituals to create sacred space in our homes and work places. Sacred space creates the optimum environment for shamanic healing work to take place for the client as well as the practitioner. Prerequisites: Upper or Lower World Journey *Manifestation Level I* April 29, 2005 4:00 pm - May 1, 2005 1:30 pm This unique residential program deals in depth with the hidden energetic properties of manifesting in our lives. We will explore how patterns, judgments and belief systems block us as effective co-creators of our abundance. Enchantments that cripple us will be broken and we will delve deeply into the existing system that keeps us in the victim state.
