It is our mission and intent to bring you news of the latest writings, classes, performances and events to assist you on your journey toward more conscious and joyous living. By Gwilda Wiyaka We too start to awaken and if we are attuned to the way life really works, we start to take note of the stirring of what we planted last fall as it too attempts to begin its manifestation in our lives. Several problems can arise for us in this time. Mother Nature knows to leave moisture from her snow for the crocus and grass, then allow them to bloom. We, on the other hand, are often clueless we have even planted anything, much less how to recognize and nurture it. Most of our manifestations are unconscious and born from our fears or conditioning. If we did not tear these undesirables down last fall, we can plan on them blooming again this spring. The things we have been trying to create in our lives, we have most likely been flogging all winter trying to get them to bloom before their time. By spring we have probably given up on them in total frustration and resigned ourselves to the same ole' same old. The signs of their attempted manifestation goes by unnoticed and we fail to take the steps required of us to bring them into being. We are indeed co-creators, yet we stagger around blindly creating partly formed abominations that we fall victim to. Manifestation takes consciousness. It takes true faith (as opposed to blind faith). It takes being present and taking responsibility for our experience. It takes being more whole and understanding the way life really works. In short, it takes shamanic healing and training. The ability to manifest as individuals is our true road to freedom and creating a new world, one of peace, prosperity and joy. Hope to see you there. It serves as a prerequisite for all of Path Home's more advanced programs and classes. *Lower World or Upper World Journey is needed as a prerequisite for the Manifestation Level I class* Power Animals & Helping Spirits February 20, 2005 10:00 am - 5:30 pm Boulder, CO A consistent and reliable working relationship with your Power Animals and Helping Spirits is the backbone of all shamanic practices. In this workshop, we will explore our personal style and develop sound methods of relating to and cooperating with these most precious friends. This class is also a one day nonresidential. Prerequisite: Upper or Lower World Journey Drum Making Class March 6, 2005 9:30 am - 5:30 pm A one day workshop geared to help participants make a hand-held "Native American" style drum. All materials and tools needed will be provided. This is a one day intensive making of the drum, using elk raw hide for the skin and cedar drum hoops. Drum beaters will also be built using various materials. Individual custom work will be instructed for each drum. Prerequisites: none Integration Techniques March 19, 2005 10:00 am - 5:30 pm Integration is paramount before we can realize the benefits of soul retrieval healings in our daily lives. This often overlooked and most necessary technique will be covered in depth. Various approaches will be demonstrated in order to meet the needs of our diverse clientele including: use of essential oils and homeopathics, creation of customized rituals for the individual client, V.I.B.E sessions, the use of power animals, how to best address all four levels and when and how to refer to other practitioners. Prerequisites: Upper or Lower World Journey and Beginning Soul Retrieval Medicine Pouches March 20, 2005 10:00 am - 5:30 pm This class was taken from the Path Home Shamanic Artisan program. The making of a personal Medicine Pouch will not only give the participants their own container for the medicine bundle to be collected in the Wilderness and Nature programs but it will also provide a basic knowledge of "Shamanic Working". Shamanic Working is a method by which the practitioner "works" power into an object. This skill can then be applied to any sacred project one cares to undertake. Prerequisites: Upper or Lower World Journey *Manifestation Level I* April 29, 2005 4:00 pm - May 1, 2005 1:30 pm This unique residential program deals in depth with the hidden energetic properties of manifesting in our lives. We will explore how patterns, judgments and belief systems block us as effective co-creators of our abundance. Enchantments that cripple us will be broken and we will delve deeply into the existing system that keeps us in the victim state.
