Most of our religions, rituals and customs are mere skeletons left from that time.  Priests and Priestesses in ancient Egypt and our prophets were examples of the last humans left wired to align with the frequency of Spirit as the planet was leaving the prior time of enlightenment.

As the frequency dropped, fewer and fewer were able to directly access Spirit and rituals were established to try and raise frequency enough to reestablish contact.  For the most part, the masses had to rely on the few individuals left that could bridge the frequency gap, such as tribal shaman.  As we passed further into the dark part of the cycle, (the Age of Scorpio), groups of these individuals had to cloister themselves and dedicate their lives to maintaining their frequency.  It was from this practice that the monks, nuns and priests were formed.

Because the masses no longer had connection with their personal spiritual guidance, rules and customs had to be formed to guide them.  Then guilt was implemented to make sure they complied.  Religion came to be.  This left the people vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation by charlatans posing as enlightened ones.  Finally, disillusioned by the misuse and exploitation of religion, many divorced Spirit altogether and science became god.  If science was god, money was GOD and ruthless commerce became the only way of manifestation.  This is the sad state of affairs we are now transitioning out of.

As we lost our personal connection with Spirit, we also lost our identification with our Path Home.  We are more of what we are not, (our damage, compensations, defenses, conditioning and misguided belief systems) than what we truly are. We identify with the soup of the cultural reality, guilt, and projections of others as well as our own damaged identity.

And this has what to do with my sleepless night?

As we reenter the photon band we are now reversing this process known as "The Fall."  We are literally being bathed with increasingly higher frequencies.  This is much like sitting in a microwave oven. All our particles are speeding up and bumping into the things within us that do not align with what we really are, our Path Home.

What we are is the gods we used to walk with.  As we reenter the photon band between now and 2012, the raise in frequency gives each of us the opportunity to shed what we are not and literally reenter the state of being created in the image of God, the state of direct alignment with Spirit and all that is.    

This unearths all sorts of ugliness.  While I felt I was being bombarded with negative feelings what is really taking place is that these feelings are being unearthed and pushed out.  I am feeling them as they go rather than as they come in.  Generations of distortion are now on the move in those of us that care to participate and set our intention to reenter enlightenment. If we identify with it as it passes through we will surely have a rough ride.

It is not for everyone.  Some will choose to go further into denial and anchor the old frequency.  This is not a bad thing, these people are stabilizing the transition. Both will have their ups and downs.  While, in my view, these people have chosen to give the ultimate sacrifice, it is so important to follow your true promptings and discern appropriate proximity.  People we used to be close to may not be suitable any more as we undergo this transformation.  We all have our place, our sacred job so to speak, and now is the time to find it.

As we discussed in "When the Old Rules Don't Apply" April 2005 (see past writings at: Along the Path   http://www.findyourpathhome.com/writings.200504.html ) we cannot base our path upon the past as the rules are different at this frequency.  For this reason, we find that, thought alone can no longer guide us.  "The eagle of the north and the condor of the south (mind & heart) must now fly together."

While we once were herded together and required to follow the same rules to survive the darkness it is now necessary to differentiate and find our place in the fabric of life. We can only do this by re-accessing our personal connection to Spirit, receiving and translating it through our minds and following our hearts.
