My Gift to You

You are not alone, we are all in this together. As our planet Earth moves into ever increasing light during these times of intense transformation there are currents that affect us all. These writings are intended to share the latest information on these ever changing currents in order to support our evolution as individuals and as a people.

Blessings on your path,

Something Old, Something New
November 2006
by Gwilda Wiyaka

It seems like an old subject yet it keeps cropping up with a new slant - that of what are we fueling with our energy and why. I often tell my students that everything we own has a piece of our energy attached to it. If we own too much that is just superfluous, most of our energy is tied up in that which no longer serves us.

So often we think we're being frugal and reasonable. More likely, we're holding on to things out of fear of lack rather than because the objects still serve.

Some of our most treasured gifts are actually items that allow us to hold on to the last fragments of a relationship that needs to shift or go away. We choose not to let go because we are afraid another relationship won't come and take its place.

Even the way our homes are arranged and decorated locks down energy in a way that may no longer be appropriate.

I used to find the best arrangement of the things I have in my home and leave it that way for years. Now I find myself urged to re-arrange, re-sort, re-move much and acquire just a few things that hold the space more in alignment with who I am now.

During these times of rapid transition it seems to be very important to keep up with this process of assessment, frequently considering what serves us and what we need to let go of or rearrange. Keeping our possessions and environment in tune with who we are about to become helps us hold the new frequency.

Releasing what no longer serves us helps us let go of who we no longer are. By not surrounding ourselves with the old we are not being continually dragged down by things that carry our old identity and frequency. In addition, we are no longer fueling them with our personal energy. This frees our energy up to invest into the new that we wish to create.

Fall is a wonderful time for sorting through things and discerning what needs to go with us into our cave for winter. What materials will just take up much needed energy and space as opposed to what resources we will need to have on hand to get us through the winter and be ready to plant in the spring?

So during this season of Samhain, may your harvest be plentiful, may your burdens be few and may your pruning and weeding make room for wonderful new things to grow in your future.

In loving friendship,
Gwilda Wiyaka

Given my bottom line and what I'd like to manifest at this time...

  1. What disadvantages or curses in my world could be turned into blessings by simply changing my perspective?
  2. How do I shift my perspective of these perceived disadvantages?
  3. How can this new perspective assist me along my chosen path?
  4. What more do I need to know about shifting my perspective to help me recognize blessings?

Happy Journey!
